The Senoia Car Show is an annual event that showcases 500 classic and custom cars from all over Georgia. The event takes place in September and features a range of vehicles, including vintage cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and custom trucks. The Senoia Car Show is a family-friendly event that offers something for everyone. In addition to the impressive collection of cars on display, there are also food vendors, music, door prizes and activities for kids. Visitors to the Senoia Car Show can explore the town's shops and restaurants, as well as its many historic sites and landmarks. - Venue opens at 7:00am, cars must have paid credentials (adv or same day) to enter and no cars allowed to enter prior to 7:00am
- On-line registration is preferred (print [or screen shot] your credentials at home), and on-line assistance is available at the Senoia Welcome Center
- Same day ticket sales available at entrance gates
- Main Street spots are assigned by number; Maguires lot and general spots are first come/first serve (saving spaces not allowed)
- Reserved parking not occupied by 10:00am will be forfeited
- All show car owners must check in by 10a at the Registration Center the day of show
- Car must be parked, registered and ID card displayed on dash by 10:00am for award eligibility
- Door prizes available to show car participants; please complete the door prize entry form at registration for eligibility
- Car hauler parking is available with complimentary shuttle service to/from Main Street, Call the Senoia Welcome Center to schedule.
- No private business advertisement (sandwich boards, posters, etc) allowed without official sponsorship
- Vehicles longer than 20’ or wider than 8’ need to register then call Senoia Welcome Center for parking instructions
- If handicap or other special parking needs are required, please register then call Senoia Welcome Center for arrangements
- Public (non show car) parking & shuttle service will be available, including handicap and golf cart
- Due to pedestrian safety Main St will be closed to vehicle traffic during the show. Show cars will not be allowed to exit until after 4pm.
We’re excited to host a silent auction featuring five one-of-a-kind pedal cars, customized by local shops with unique paint jobs, interiors, and wheels — each turned into a true "hot rod!"
All proceeds will benefit Angel House, a local safe house providing care and support for children in crisis.

Valve Cover Races - Rules and Regulations
Valve cover racing is a competitive event similar to pinewood derby, but vehicles are made using a valve cover from a car engine rather than a wooden block. Contestants are encouraged to build your own "car" and bring it to the event to race against others. Customization is encouraged per the rules below. The event is open to children and adults of all ages.

Car/Valve Cover Specs
1. Length - up to 30 inches
2. Width - up to 10 inches
3. Height -up to 10 inches
4. Weight - up to 10 pounds
5. No engines or propulsion
6. No moving weights
7. Wheels can be attached to the valve cover in any manner, but must not extend beyond
the front of the valve cover
8. Nothing can extend beyond the front of the valve cover (Car)
9. Cars shall be based on an actual rocker cover from an automobile
10. Cars must have four wheels, each no more than six inches in diameter
The Course
The track will be similar to a Pinewood Derby track. A wooden track with two lanes approximately 20 ft. long and 4ft incline with a single starting gate. Located at the bottom of Main Street during the Senoia Car Show.
The Race
- Cars will be run in heats of two cars each
- The cars will be launched with the front edge of the valve cover touching the starting gate. The first car to have its front edge cross the finish line will be the winner. If neither car makes it to the finish line, the car going the furthest in its lane wins
- Winning cars will advance to the next round until all are eliminated except one car

Mustangs for Military will be on site again this year raffling off a 2007 Shelby GT500 at $40/ticket. Proceeds provide financial assistance to student veterans who honorably served this country so they may achieve their educational goals. Visit www.mustangs4military.org for more details.
NEW THIS YEAR: the Senoia Area Historical Society is hosting a local cruise on Friday 9/26 - the day before the car show. The $20 event will be a poker run where participants photograph their car in front of 5 local landmarks, then bring the photos to Marimac Lakes between 6 and 7p to claim 5 playing cards as your "poker hand". Standard poker rules will be used to determine the best 5 card hand and your chance to win a $200 cash prize.. The winning hand will be awarded at 7p followed by a free hot dog dinner. Proceeds benefit the Senoia Area Historical Society.

Unlike the car show, any make/model of car, truck, motorcycle can participate (no vehicle age restriction). Join your friends to make the 60 minute cruise at any time on Friday and compete for the best poker hand and cash prize at 7pm. There is no official start or finish time, you simply go at your own pace and cruise the landmarks in any order. Use your cell phone to take a selfie, and tell any onlookers to come to the car show on Saturday. Senoia Area Historical Society:
The Senoia Area Historical Society’s mission is to secure, preserve, and promote the social and cultural history of the community. In 1976, a group of townspeople joined together to plan festivities to celebrate our country's Bicentennial. Today, the society has monthly meetings open to the public on the second Thursday of the month at 7 pm in our headquarters/museum. We often host guest speakers at these meetings and we always enjoy the evenings. Our fundraising events are community affairs that capture the society’s unique character. From Hot Rods for History to the Annual Auction, the year is full of fun and activity. We also host many community enrichment opportunities such as storytelling events, genealogical seminars and local artists/authors. You do not need to live in Senoia to join the society - membership is open to everyone!The Senoia Area Historical Society (SAHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the social and cultural history of Senoia, Georgia and its surrounding community. Start at Crook's Marketplace - 7814 Wells St, Senoia, GA 30276 - take your pic in front of the mural and continue on to Stop2.
Stop2 : "Brooks Foundry School" mural located across from the Brooks post office. (GPS: 33°17'24.4"N 84°27'29.3"W)

Take a left (north) out of Crook's onto Broad Street
Next, veer left onto Travis Street and immediately go right onto Main Street
Stay on Main Street and continue as it becomes Rock-A-Way Road
Continue and then turn right (east) on Hwy 74/Joel Cowan Pkwy
Turn left (north) onto GA Hwy 85 north
Turn right onto Hwy 85 Connector (at Millpond Gardens Garden Center)
Turn left on W.McIntosh Rd. - Look for a mural on the end of the building at 121 W. McIntosh Rd. Take your pic and continue on.
Stop3: "Welcome to Alvaton" mural is painted on the side of a building on Hwy 85 South just north of the town center. (GPS : 33°10'39.5"N 84°34'56.9"W)

Follow Hwy 85 Connector out of Brooks until you reach the roundabout.
Go straight at the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Hollonville Rd.
Hollonville Rd becomes Kings Bridge Rd. when you cross the bridge
Continue on Kings Bridge Rd. until it dead ends into Hwy 362. The Hollonville Opry House will be on your right.
Before you continue, if you need a quick break, fuel or some refreshments, take a left and Frank's Filling Station is on your left.
Take a right onto Hwy 362.
Continue on Hwy 362 into the town of Alvaton. Turn left onto GA Hwy 85 going south for a very short distance where you will see the mural on the side of the Air Logic Heating and Air Conditioning building (it's small). Pull in and take your pic. Turn left out of Air Logic going north on GA Hwy 85.
Stop4 : SAHS History Museum is located on Couch Street just off Main St in Senoia (GPS : 33°18'20.6"N 84°33'21.1"W)

Follow Hwy 85 north back to Senoia and turn left on Hwy 16.
Turn right on Broad Street. veer left onto Travis Street and immediately go right onto Main Street
Follow Main Street through town again and turn left on Couch Street.
At the end of that block the Senoia Historical Society is on the right at 6 Couch St, Senoia, GA 30276.Take a pic at the Historical Society and head to the Stone Lodge at Marimac Lakes.
Stop5: Stone Lodge at Marimac Lakes is located near the Senoia Library off Pylant St (GPS : 33°17'54.7"N 84°33'42.4"W)

Turn left (south) onto Pylant Street
Follow Pylant Street and turn right into the Senoia Branch Library. Proceed across the lake to the Stonelodge. Take your picture in front of the Stone Lodge.
Poker instruction
After you have completed all 5 stops, show your pictures to the "dealer" at the Stone Lodge and receive 5 playing cards for your poker hand. Winner to be determined by standard poker rules at 7pm. There will be a hotdog dinner served from 6-8pm compliments of the Senoia Area Historical Society.

Senoia Area Historical Society:
The Senoia Area Historical Society’s mission is to secure, preserve, and promote the social and cultural history of the community. In 1976, a group of townspeople joined together to plan festivities to celebrate our country's Bicentennial. Today, the society has monthly meetings open to the public on the second Thursday of the month at 7 pm in our headquarters/museum. We often host guest speakers at these meetings and we always enjoy the evenings. Our fundraising events are community affairs that capture the society’s unique character. From Hot Rods for History to the Annual Auction, the year is full of fun and activity. We also host many community enrichment opportunities such as storytelling events, genealogical seminars and local artists/authors. You do not need to live in Senoia to join the society - membership is open to everyone!The Senoia Area Historical Society (SAHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the social and cultural history of Senoia, Georgia and its surrounding community. 2025 Senoia Car Show Poker Run driving directions
Stop1 : Crook's Marketplace mural in downtown Senoia (GPS : 33°18'24.9"N 84°33'16.1"W)

Start at Crook's Marketplace - 7814 Wells St, Senoia, GA 30276 - take your pic in front of the mural and continue on to Stop2.
Stop2 : "Brooks Foundry School" mural located across from the Brooks post office. (GPS: 33°17'24.4"N 84°27'29.3"W)

Take a left (north) out of Crook's onto Broad Street
Next, veer left onto Travis Street and immediately go right onto Main Street
Stay on Main Street and continue as it becomes Rock-A-Way Road
Continue and then turn right (east) on Hwy 74/Joel Cowan Pkwy
Turn left (north) onto GA Hwy 85 north
Turn right onto Hwy 85 Connector (at Millpond Gardens Garden Center)
Turn left on W.McIntosh Rd. - Look for a mural on the end of the building at 121 W. McIntosh Rd. Take your pic and continue on.
Stop3: "Welcome to Alvaton" mural is painted on the side of a building on Hwy 85 South just north of the town center. (GPS : 33°10'39.5"N 84°34'56.9"W)

Follow Hwy 85 Connector out of Brooks until you reach the roundabout.
Go straight at the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Hollonville Rd.
Hollonville Rd becomes Kings Bridge Rd. when you cross the bridge
Continue on Kings Bridge Rd. until it dead ends into Hwy 362. The Hollonville Opry House will be on your right.
Before you continue, if you need a quick break, fuel or some refreshments, take a left and Frank's Filling Station is on your left.
Take a right onto Hwy 362.
Continue on Hwy 362 into the town of Alvaton. Turn left onto GA Hwy 85 going south for a very short distance where you will see the mural on the side of the Air Logic Heating and Air Conditioning building (it's small). Pull in and take your pic. Turn left out of Air Logic going north on GA Hwy 85.
Stop4 : SAHS History Museum is located on Couch Street just off Main St in Senoia (GPS : 33°18'20.6"N 84°33'21.1"W)

Follow Hwy 85 north back to Senoia and turn left on Hwy 16.
Turn right on Broad Street. veer left onto Travis Street and immediately go right onto Main Street
Follow Main Street through town again and turn left on Couch Street.
At the end of that block the Senoia Historical Society is on the right at 6 Couch St, Senoia, GA 30276.Take a pic at the Historical Society and head to the Stone Lodge at Marimac Lakes.
Stop5: Stone Lodge at Marimac Lakes is located near the Senoia Library off Pylant St (GPS : 33°17'54.7"N 84°33'42.4"W)

Turn left (south) onto Pylant Street
Follow Pylant Street and turn right into the Senoia Branch Library. Proceed across the lake to the Stonelodge. Take your picture in front of the Stone Lodge.
Poker instruction
After you have completed all 5 stops, show your pictures to the "dealer" at the Stone Lodge and receive 5 playing cards for your poker hand. Winner to be determined by standard poker rules at 7pm. There will be a hotdog dinner served from 6-8pm compliments of the Senoia Area Historical Society.
